Meredith Viera currently hosts the blockbuster hit series Who Wants to Be A Millionaire (Viera turned Regis Philbin's primetime TV hit into a daytime syndicated show) and she is also the co-host of the top-rated Today show on NBC, picking it up from Katie Couric, following her departure to CBS news. An Emmy Award nominee, Vieira is best-known as a longtime co-host of the Barbara Walters TV show The View, and prior to that she worked on 60 Minutes.

Discovery Times Square Exposition

The Discovery Channel partnering with the Runnng Subway Productions created its first NYC's first large-scale exhibition center. Now the planet's most extraordinary exhibits come to life in 60,000 square feet in the heart of Times Square.  Discovery TSX will offer enlightenment and education through exposure to the world's greatest exhibits featuring two enormous galleries, an exclusive retail shop and a café space.

The first exhibits featured are the "Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition" and "Lucy’s Legacy: The Hidden Treasures of Ethiopia".

Central Park – Make sure to allow plenty of time for your visit as it is a world unto itself, rich with scenic views and hidden gems, all at the center of the world's most exciting city!  Not all of Central Park's attractions are free, but many of them are.  Regardless of your age or your income, there is something for everyone. Some of its highligts include:


1) The Central Park Zoo and the Tisch Children's Zoo

2) Belvedere Castle – Offers Panaromic Views and serves as a  weather station Located at Mid-Park at 79th Street 

3) The Carousel – Most Popular among pre-teen.  A fee of $2

Location: Mid-Park at 64th Street.


4) Bethesda Terrace and Fountain – Many movies were filmed here.  Iconic site. Great place to gather Location: Mid -Park at 72nd Street

5) Bow Bridge - Stretching sixty feet over the lake, from Cherry Hill to the Ramble,it is not only one of the most beautiful cast iron bridges in the world, but also offers some of the most breathtaking views of the park around it.      Location: Mid-Park at 74th St., west of Bethesda Terrace connecting Cherry Hill  & the Ramble


6.Central Park Reservoir - Arguably the most valuable waterfront real estate on the planet, the Central Park Reservoir is located between 86th - 96th St at The center of the park. 

7)  Conservatory Garden - One of the hidden wonders of Central Park is the Conservatory  Garden at Fifth Avenue and 105th St. A secluded oasis, just a few steps down from one of the City’s busiest thoroughfares; the garden offers a fragrant respite from the gasp and clatter of the urban afternoon.  


8)    The Imagine Mosaic – Strawberry Fields  The Imagine Mosaic has become a
gathering place for fans of Mr.Lennon from all over the world and it is here that you can almost always find someone strumming a guitar to the tune of one of his many song. Location:West Side between 71st and 74th Streets 

9)    Ice skating and Amusement Park in Central Park is easily one of the most picturesque activities to be enjoyed on a winter' s night.  In the spring and summer the rink becomes home to the Victorian Gardens amusement park, a beautiful evocation of a quaint country carnival with rides and attractions for the whole family. Location: East Side between 62nd and 63rd Streets
